Paul McGrath

How has the big man not a thread of his own

Feared the worst when I saw this :grimacing:

I did think that but I went with it anyway

Our greatest

It was amazing in the 3 Arena the other night.

Neville and Carragher were half cheered/half booed coming out by the relevant Footix while Keane got a fairly universal cheer of Keano Keano.

When McGrath was rolled out, the crowd broke into a spontaneous but universal standing ovation. It was very touching and showed that even though Keane/Neville/Carragher have a much bigger profile, Paul McGrath was still regarded as the biggest legend in the room by some distance.

You can’t but love Big Paul. There’s no bad in him only against himself sadly.

It’s a disgrace what Ferguson tried to do to him

I got sent a clip from someone who was there. Honestly almost welled up when I saw the reception he got. An absolute gent

It was covered well the other night.

Norman Whiteside led him astray.

Ferguson blackguarded him

He’d be posing with Balon Dors if he stuck to drinking the capri sun

He was some player, even with all the shit he had going on off the pitch. Imagine if he had been in the right frame of mind all the time!

I think that was his issue though. He couldn’t

I am tempted but €50 seems a bit steep

OK guys, lets be careful bumping this thread please.

An guilty conscience at play here. No effort made to help the man who was obvious in need to help, and a clear cry for help.

Paul is the bigger man, as he always has been. A credit to us.
