PDC World Darts Championship 2010

Draw takes plce at 2.30pm today, live on sky sports news.

Exactly when does this start, next week?I love this time of the year with the darts on at Christmas.Dunph if you see fit could you post the main players first round draw,Taylor,Barney,Wade…

It generally starts a few days before xmas toes and breaks then for a few days to allow for xmas before resuming after xmas and culminating in the opening days of January.

Yes i’ll post up the draw when i see it.

It’s a great time of year, sitting at home for xmas eating and drinking and watching the darts…

Ahhh remember that classic final between Barney and Taylor, this will get us in the mood!

Best game of darts i ever saw.

Will Barney ever rediscover that form?

He’s hardly been the same since.

That was a savage final. The Taylor v Painter final was just as good if you ask me. Painter had the game in the palm of his hand but Taylor still managed to out do him.

Barney suffers alot from a severe lack of confidence which ruins his game,if things are not going his way he tends to drop the head very quickly.I like Painter a man who’s not afraid to slow things down, take a breather and the trademark finger lick is always priceless,as well as that he won me a fortune on an accum two years back when he beat Adrian Lewis!

Painter did everything bar win that match. This was a better game of darts than the Barney/Taylor final.

If anyone saw the Las Vegas Desert Classis this year where Taylor beats Barney in the final - I don’t think Barney will ever beat Taylor in a final again. He had a total breakdown that night, fully giving up with a few legs to go. He then grabbed the microphone and launched into a five minute Ode to Phil Taylor. I thought he might even retire after it, such was the magnitude of the breakdown.

I remember that and thought Barney would retire aswell,he completely admitted that Taylor was far too good and that with even 10hrs practice wouldn’t be able to beat him!

This is for the PDC Sid, set up your own thread for that BDO tripe.

Think Terry Jenkins may well be looking at a third straight first round loss here.
