The atmosphere there is absolutely stone dead, like a funeral. Glad i didn’t go to that session…
:o
Serious? Those are crazy odds.
If Part beats Taylor which on this form is probable then there’s every chance he’ll carry on that momentum. He’s that kind of player.
Adrian Lewis is my tip to win out.
There’s no method to the way they’re throwing them now, just flinging them at the board.
I suggest a few of ye mop up the 1000.00 on Antonio Alcinas as, well, he’ll be winning this thing.
Could Taylor be sick? He looks drained up there.
Oh FFS, thank god thats over.
I was actually thinking that myself. He looks noticeably thinner. I’m thinking more long term illness rather than short term.
Webster into 18/1…
im not surprised. all the big guns will shorten appreciatably now given how taylor performed last night. was reading that his grandchild was born 2 months premature and has only just come out of intensive care. this would easily explain his poor form.
Is this Andree Welge fella any good and has he a chance of beating Colin Lloyd tonight i wonder? I think Lloyd is living off his reputation, i haven’t seen much to like about his darts the last two or so years. He is 1/5 to beat Welge…
Lloyd has done well on circuit in past year. dont know anything about his opponent but would’nt lay Lloyd.
My top tip for the first round is for Kevin McDine to beat Barrie Bates. Bates is hugely overrated and anytime i have seen McDine on TV, i have been highly impressed, should be a good price. Lump on McDine to pay for your Stephens day drinking.
Bates is shit, agreed. But McDine is a muppet ala Barney who drops the head/shakes the head when things start going wrong for him. Tread carefully, jimmy29, that’s all i’m saying…
Thanks for the advice but did you see the state of Bates in the World Cup of Darts? I felt sorry for Webster, having to carry him for the whole tournament. If McDine plays anything up to form he will win, at 10/11, definetely worth a few pound.
Yes i saw Bates and i agree that he is shit generally. McDine may well win but i don’t like him as a player. He has a funny leg as well and he could start limping if things start going wrong…
the dunph is spot on about mcdine. hes a baby, bates has more grit and bottle and could see him beat mcdine.
Stompe needs to play up. he’s on the verge of going out here. 2-0 down to some Johnny Rotten wannabe.
Dreadful finishing from Stompe.
The Diutchman will be feeling very low after that. He looked flat all the way through, played as if he had lead in his clogs.
