Thornton has to win this, i don’t rate Nicholson.
Nicholson is without doubt one of the biggest cunts playing darts but he is a talented cunt on his day all the same. Thornton is favorite on the back of results during the year but his record here is pretty shit.
Hard one to call is this match.
While undoubtedly a major cunt, I do like the way he doesn’t care for the mentally-challenged, chav crowd. Also, Nicholson playing Taylor in the last 16 would be very tasty, a lot of bad blood there.
Nicholson takes the first set, this could be another classic.
1-1 now, wonder if Nicholson will be rattled after that.

I am no fan of Thorntons but would like to see him progress here as Nicholson is such a cunt and of course to be proven right in my pre-match prediction.
