If that’s how most Italians think it’s no wonder they lose the vast majority of the shoot-outs they’re in. Di Natale in fairness to him didn’t think like that and was only interested in keeping his team in it, and did so.

Di Natale scored tonight because that’s how he thinks about things. He’s a choker, sure didn’t he looked to be subbed after he missed a penalty against Arsenal last season. He’s worried about his legacy, the higher the pressure is, the worse he chokes. There was no pressure on that penalty. Lou Macari quite rightly called him the worst player on the pitch tonight.
