No itâs not. Formula is not as good as other methods of food and nutrition for the kids. Itâs just a lazy way out for parents.
In an ideal world yes you are right but the reality is different.
Wouldnât any parent try to make it as ideal as possible? Not questioning your parenting skills now as you live and I donât, but the effort to make the good can have a big effect in the kids diets as they get older. I have observed it worked out well. I have a natural mid-wife friend who swears by all this lark. Over time seeing how kids do develop Iâm even more convinced. My background in studying sports science and my interest in the Nature V Nurture debate would also all tie into this.
Very unfair statement there Kev, Breast feeding is obviously ideal but it just doesnât work out for some mothers. It is also very difficult to maintain it when the mother goes back to work.
