People who have been mugged off. Good and proper like mickee321

I suspect the Indo knows or thinks it knows the answers to the questions and more besides but framed the article this way to avoid any legal issues

Its great to see a start being made anyway. The first volley against Farrell and his cronies. Croke Park will be breaking their holes laughing at this I imagine.

It doesn’t look good for them. Farrell being so directly involved with Dublin is dodgy anyway. It’s human nature to help your own.

Becoming part of the GAA made the whole thing farcical really. They need to be a crank, a threat. Now they are nothing but an elitist group. They have also started to sound very much like politicians, answering questions with irrelevant facts/stats. It does look like they are hiding things. Maybe they are not, but they should be more transparent.

Would be great if there was a club players union set up, get some insurance company on board and rattle everyone’s cage. Make membership minimal, like 5 euros.

The semi-pro/pro days are not that far away. In the next few years players will either stop virtually playing for their clubs at all during the IC season or the seasons will be layered something like rugby in NZ, which is a model I think could work.

I had to buy a new suit for work, so today being pay day I decided to splash out.
There’s a shop on Oxford St that I had being eyeing for a number of weeks to buy a suit in.
So, I call in after work, the assistant was straight over, I picked out 2 suits to try on, I asked how much and I thought he had said 150 each.
I decided on one of the suits, went to the till to pay, the assistant asks, “by card or by cash?” I says, by card, “that will be 299 sir” I says, I thought it was 150, he said that no, it was the other suit was 150, I said that its a bit pricey so he immediately drops to 260, I grudgingly agree to pay!
Anyhow he does his business on the machine and instructs me to put in my card which will prompt me for my pin, just as I’m typing my pin I check the amount entered to make sure it was correct, but it says 26, I obviously contain my excitement and proceed with the purchase, thinking the assistant will cop the mistake. I hand him back the machine and say nothing, he tares off the receipt without checking it and hands it to me! I say my thanks and bolt it out of the shop and scurry down Oxford St before he realises his mistake!
I got a 300 pound suit for 26 pounds, Mr Italian suit shop assistant - you’ve been mugged off good and propah!!!

So you’re a cheapskate AND a thief @Sam Swarek

Edit: the suit was 500 down to 300 in a sale and I got it for 26 cha ching!!!

I think Swarek needs to be brought before the tfk ethics committee.

It’s a dog eat dog world no doubt I’ve been ripped off enough in my time!!

I’d say you have alright you fucking mug

The same lad will be out protesting about thieving Romas in Railway Square tomorrow night.

Shop will most likely have charged your card the extra when they noticed mistake / you don’t need to be there

And the woman beater voices his moral outrage. fucking  big guy

it takes a real man to hit a woman a few slaps

The regret has worn off so, has it?

mother Theresa here

Bogart: I never saw a dame yet that didn’t understand a good slap in the mouth or a slug from a .45

They can’t charge my debit card again without my authorisation, it’s their mistake

You think so? Bet you they can. You agreed to pay 260. In fact good chance you’ll be charged 299 as that was sticker price.
