Pick your top 3 Gaa games 2016

Yes, of course I have conviction in my views - that’s why I generally completely disregard yours.

‘He’s behind you’.

No i didn’t. I pointed out he rivalled his brother on that front. I didn’t offer an opinion on who was better. I don’y know. They played different roles. Tomas’s role was easier, and even to his own admission he would be out of games and devide to make a burst just before half time and go hard again after h-t.

Marc had to be switched on all the time and was never going to look as silky as Tomas.

However i don’t judge footballers purely on their style.

Eamon Fitzmaurice made a big play in the obituary he wrote about Marc O’Se being an attacking corner back before it was “en vogue”. Kerry people might say “what a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man” about Marc O’Se attacking from corner back, but they conveniently forget that Ryan McMenamin had already catapulted the role of the attacking corner back firmly into the mainstream before O’Se.

Tom O’Sullivan was Kerry’s premier attacking corner back of that era for me.

He scored one point in his Kerry career.
