Player of the Season for your team - Give us your top 10

Man U in a golden year

  1. Ronaldo- there can be no doubt
  2. Rio- Gets better all the time. has added bottle to his obvious skill
  3. Vidic- Would get in any team
  4. Tevez- Excellent at popping up with the important goals
  5. Evra- Attacks as well as he defends. Essential for stretching teams.
  6. Rooney- Couldn’t fault his effort and got 18 in a not great season by his standards
  7. Brown- Solid as fuck.
  8. Carrick- Virtually ever present, excellent as the workhorse who can pass.
  9. Scholes- Missed loads but was vital in last few months
  10. Anderson- Ripped off he’s not higher. Was immense in first half of season when others were absent. He’ll get goals next year.

Unluckys- Nani, Hargreaves
Suprised the back four are so high but all four of them were fantastic pretty much all season.

1.Lescott
2.Yakubu
3.Howard
4.Osman
5.Jagielka
6.Neville
7.Cahill
8.Arteta
9.Anichebe
10.Pienaar

Moyes 90% - done well with resources available. needs to strengthen squad further. replacement midfielder for carsley a must altho jagielka could push up to replace carsley wit lescott goin centrehalf & a fit baines at left back. also think a new right back is needed as hibbert can be too rash at times. another striker also as vaughan&anichebe are fairly young & injury prone altho promising.

Tevez gets 3rd as he scored some crucial late goals against Spurs in the 94th minute, Blackburn in the 88th minute and Lyon in the 87th minute. Got United out of some tough situations.

I saw in a previous post Bandage that you asked did I question Ferguson and I suppose the team he picked at Chelsea in the league game was questionable but it nearly escaped the Bridge with a point and in the bigger picture resting Scholes did the trick as he scored against Barca.

Interesting again because, other than Lescott, the media rattle on all the time about Cahill and Arteta. Howards seems to have been a good signing alright and I always thought Jagielka could make the step up.*Agree that Everton could do with a top class striker to partner Yakubu.
