Podders are Gonna Pod

Great auld watch. If I won the lotto, I’d spend time visiting all these random small towns in America and Canada.

About a decade ago we went on a road trip across North Carolina and pulled into all these one horse towns for a look around. Rural America is grim.

Would do it again though. Was good craic

Greatest country in the world there’s so much to see

Can anybody explain how Ireland totally dominated this Wanamaker mile for the bones of 25 Years?

I never really heard of Frank o Mara and he’s from Limerick.

Frank and Marcus O Sullivan were big names back in the 90s. Frank won a world indoors

More than once I’m fairly sure

He never won the Wanamaker though

Anywhere we can see Wooly interviewing Joyce and Geezer?

Alastair Campbell can’t sleep this week. Rory Stewart has anxiety.

The Epstein files have caused more harm to the Brits than the Americans.

Wollie had a nice bit of advise for Cork selector Ronan Curran - “calm down mate”

I went from coast to coast on a bus tour 4 years ago. New York to Los Angeles. Bits of it were a hardship, like the two days traveling west out of Chicago through endless cornfields but most of it was downright fascinating.

What was your favourite bit? How did you find los angles ?

Some of the Peter Santanello vids are good. They offer a peek into parts of America I’ll never see.

I was underwhelmed by what I saw of Los Angeles but that wasn’t much because we got stuck in a lot of traffic around Pasadena because Mexico were playing the USA in the Rose Bowl.
I was very impressed by Washington, Gettysburg ( the Americans know how to preserve historical and natural sites), Niagara Falls. I loved Chicago, Badlands National Park and Mount Rushmore. Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon are off the charts spectacular. Despite my scepticism I enjoyed Las Vegas. Salt Lake City was interesting. But definitely Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon were the highlights. I went over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter which is about the most spectacular sight I’ve seen in my life.

Aussie sailing through the Cork defence in 2017 can’t be far off it I’d imagine

It’s prob one of my regrets from being a broke student that I couldn’t justify the cost of the helicopter over Grand Canyon.
