Idah is very green too. Coleman broke away there just on half time, the ref was possibly going to blow up anyway but McGrath made a diagonal run to get completely free ahead of him down the line. It just needed a little clip from Coleman and McGrath would have been running free. The only other players forward were Idah and a defender. He should have been staying the hell away and keeping the defender occupied on the far side of the pitch but he darted across into the space McGrath was running into and took the defender with him. It could have been McGrath driving forward with Idah for support in a 2 v 1 but Idah miscontrolled the ball and the ref blew. A labourer example but I’ve noticed he does this a fair bit and doesn’t seem to make the right runs. Hopefully he’ll get there with more first team football and experience.
