It wouldn’t surprise me if he is after doing a dj on the cancer thing. He has always craved attention to a ridiculous degree
Slating their pathetic on pitch battling qualities & drawing the contrast with his own determination & defiance in defeating cancer…it’s the deranged rambling of a mentalist.
Genuinely hope @maroonandwhite is ok. This is a new low for him. Kildare gaa must be shitting themselves about Evan rifling through their finances after what he did to Dublin GAA ‘funding’, Covid numbers and Mayo’s county board finances
Jimmy Sloyan is great craic – and often near the mark. Would love to interview him.
Ewan MacKenna is an unhinged grifting loon (and could never write).
If Ewan decided to become a Jimmy Sloyan style character he’d be released from the chore of having to write. It could suit him, play to his strengths and steer him away from his weak point. It could be like Paul Warhurst being released from the defensive duties he found so tiresome to go on the rampage up front.
At the same time, he probably doesn’t have the voice for it. What makes Sloyan is the quality of his voice, especially his quiet voice, and the delivery.
He’d want to be even more simple than I imagine to be backing Kildare today
Also, unlike Sloyan, he probably has no one to go for pints with.
Only people who have nobody to go for pints with go for pints these days.
Or that’s the way it’s going anyway.
Hope he’s alright the poor divil, he’s all over the place there. Doesn’t in any way take from the facts he set out about Dublins financial doping even if the snide and sly be kind lads here wished it did and can’t hide their delight in him going through a rough time. Very character revealing.
Ah he’s being a cunt, Kildare football has fuck all history, what right does he think he has to be having a go off them for losing to Kerry.
This lad has lost the plot entirely. Christ we can all build our counties up only to see the dream unravel but his explosive, vitriolic outburst is way outside normal parameters. Lads, whether good or bad will always try their best, they have more respect for the jersey than this prick.
That’s a very common refrain on this thread which is over 6 years old
He had plenty of support here for a long time because he took the headbanger approach to Covid but that’s even gone now I’d say
You really are desperate for attention
Jesus, I get enough attention from you anyway ![]()

In a pub he’d be known as “pothole”
Didn’t he tweet a few years ago that he met some of the footballers out on the town?
A kick in the hole is only 2 foot from a clap on the back
The life of an intercounty player is a tough one, Tipp getting the back cut off them this year and lauded only a few months ago.
Paidi was almost right, he only said Kerry supporters, but in truth it’s all G.A.A. supporters. An intercounty player shouldn’t mind any outside their own circle. The Cork footballers will have all sorts climbing on board over the coming weeks, but they’ll know the ones who matter.
