Premier League 2017/18

I do a bit of fishing Mike, not as much as I’d like to any more. I actually made it out on Saturday though for a spot of fishing in St Mullins.

Lads, who was the ref in that game? He was dreadful.

Lovely to see Liverpool legends Crouchy and Andy still doing the business.

Things didn’t work out quite so well for those other traditional Premier League favourites Joe Hart and Stephen Ireland.

Lambert, Big Sam, Pards, Moyes, Woy, Sparky.EPL clubs turn to these guys time after time as the “safe” option. Each of them is mediocre. No chance of an EPL club hiring a young fella like Nagelsmann at Hoffenheim or God forbid a non white manager.

Tough to get a manager who is already in a job in another league half way through the season to join your relegation battle though.

He said “like”, not them themselves. Granted its no surprise to see those in charge of English football have little or no vision.

Dave o’leary Must have burned a lot of bridges to never get another management gig

Well he bankrupted Leeds United.

Peter Ridsdale wrote the Cheques . The book the year of the trial was ill advised and particularly the small money involved. He never recovered from that .

Darren Moore at WBA doesn’t look very white.

Frank De Boer and Palace are a great example. They said they wanted to change the style of play and brought Frank in. Panic after four games and replace him with a seventy year old. Everton getting rid of Koeman another example. Did they really believe that the Big Sam would be an improvement? Of course the financial costs of relegation are massive but the clubs are very short sighted.

No. But will he get the job permanently? Doubt it.

He wouldn’t get the janitors job permanently is the sad reality

Beat Liverpool on Saturday and they’ll find it difficult not to give him the job.

Agree. But that won’t happen because Mo will smash them.

West Bromwich Albion yet again the trailblazers for the African American community in Association Football. They really would be a huge loss if they’re relegated. Not to mention the loss of the Black Country derby for at least another season.

Dunno. They’ve been a bogey team for us this season, will be fighting for their lives, while we might well have one eye on next Tuesday.
