Premier League 2018/19

Not that Serie A has the lock on rehiring the same manager mind you.

Radomir Antic was sacked three times in two years by Jesus Gil, you can’t tell me that wouldn’t have been fun for a fan to follow.

Tsanko Tsvetanov was sacked three times by Bulgarian side FC Etar 1924 Veliko Tarnovo in the same season. Heady times.

Ed Woodward decided to take the Serie A approach to hiring managers, which I think is great

When is the last time an English club eliminated Barca or Real out of Europe?

The correct answer is Chelsea in 2012. English clubs have a pathetic record in recent years against the big Spanish 2.

Huh? The Roma coach Di Francesco last season was chosen as the Enzo Bearzot Coach of the year despite presiding over the 10th consecutive season for the club without winning a trophy. By your standards, that’s a glorification of failure.

Manchester City definitely won’t drop points on Sunday

He was sacked this season with his side 2 points off the top 4.

He’s been fired since

So he’s free to take up the Liverpool or Spurs job when Klopp and Pochetino are rightly sacked during the summer for continual improvement of their club’s performance? Has anyone snapped up Ranieri?

Trophies matter, how can you make continual improvements when you continuously fail?

Liverpool and Spurs are honourable clubs who don’t resort to cheating to satisfy the myopic cravings of delusional fans for instant success.

Instant success is about 3 or years out of date now with Poch and Klopp. Success doesn’t seem to matter at all, just there to make the numbers up it seems.

In comparison to what went before them Klopp and Pochetino have been very successful especially considering the blatant cheating of some of their competitors. They have reduced clubs like Man Utd and Chelsea to fighting for fourth place between them.

For two of the richest clubs in Europe and for the level of money Liverpool and Spurs invest in their sides and facilities, it is embarrassing they can’t even win a trophy. They’ve tried buying success and Klopp and Poch have failed to deliver.

juventus have won the last 8 leagues and the last 4 or 5 coppa italias.

so in the last 5 years no other manager has won a serious trophy in Italy. Do they sack everyone who finishes second every year?

No wonder Juve are so dominant

I suppose the only thing with that statement is that others have vastly outspent them and Liverpool have to sell their best players to buy.

Generally you have a certain amount of time to change that. If not then it is the turn of someone else.

Liverpool and Spurs outperform clubs they are wealthier than and outperform some that are wealthier. Pochetino and Klopp are not allowed to spunk 100m on a 35 year old with no resale value. They are too good to carry out such lunacy anyway.

Spuds got beaten by Ajax Tuesday night, Poch and Klopp lost out on a title to Leicester. They got knocked out of the FA Cup by Palace and Wolves.

EAT, SLEEP, FAIL, REPEAT.
