Klopp and Poch, like Guardiola and the first half of the Wenger tenure at Arsenal before them, are philosophy managers. They put modern systems of play in place which overwhelm teams. They are long term managers who transform clubs and are right at the cutting edge of modern thinking on the game.
Liverpool and Tottenham are unrecognisable from what they were before each took over.
Their managerial styles fit neatly with the shrewd, committed ownership of each club, who have long term visions.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea each now have a similar problem in terms of ownership - none has owners or decision makers at board level who see the football side as important to things, or know much about football.

Ken Early compared Guardiola and his system to an almost perfect cyborg which has almost infallible knowledge, and is then completely stumped by something simple like a shiny doorknob, so much so that it short circuits and blows up

As Manchester City scored, one of the lads piped up. “He’s great but he was bought with money from a state that kills gay people.” The other two turned and jabbed him verbally. “No politics!”
