Liverpool have had countless chances to put this title to bed.

Draw or win away to city to win the league - couldn’t do it.
City lose to Benitez and Liverpool have the chance to go seven points clear against a struggling Leicester at home the following night - couldn’t do it.
Away to West Ham to extend the gap - two dropped points, couldn’t do it.
Away to an Everton team on a wretched run - couldn’t do it.
Away to the worst United side in 30 years who lost three players through injury in the first half - couldn’t do it.

If they don’t win the league they only have themselves to blame, not this flowery bollocks about heroic and brave they’ve been. Worse than Mayo football fans.
