Goal machine Fabian Schar
Draw wouldnât be a bad result for Liverpool in this one. Crystal Palace beat Manchester City at Maine Road a few weeks back.
It would be nice for hodson to get a result there
A draw would mean United have cut the gap on Liverpool by 5 points after 6 league games. That would contradict your earlier outlook. Why are you always contradicting yourself?
Man U are not title contenders.
Youâve lost any remaining shred of credibility that you may have had on soccer matters with your latest revelation that you thought FA Cup results counted in the league points tally.
I referenced recent form, if Liverpool fail to win today that will mean they have only won 1 game in 4. If United win today which they are on course to do they will have 7 wins in 7. One is title winning form, the other is not. You donât seem to understand how form works.
One of those four Liverpool matches you mentioned and one of those seven Man U matches you referenced were FA Cup 3rd round matches. FA Cup 3rd round matches have no relevance to title winning form. Liverpool had won 9 of their last 10 league matches going in to today. The only blip was a somewhat unlucky defeat away to champions and 2nd placed Manchester City. Thatâs title winning form from Liverpool.
Pool ahead again
Yes, more evidence that Liverpool are crumbling, Klopp is currently 0/12 in trophies he has contested. I think the pressure is mounting and they are cracking. Man Utd on the other hand are coming like a train gathering momentum. The likelihood is they probably wonât catch City but they could well catch Liverpool.
Spironi. Another goal for Salah.
Palace have pool rattled here
pool?
Brighton get a goal back against United.
Milner sent off.
Maybe not
Champions find a way. This Liverpool team is different
You must have been very worried, only calling me out after the fact.
Liverpool are looking very brittle lately and I think City will be back on top by the end of February.
There was no point, you were making a fool of yourself earlier with your form guide.
Nope, it seemed as if you were worried about Livepoolâs ability to see it out. Why only say it after the fact?
Liverpool are like a boxer ahead on the scorecards, but itâs round 8 and they are blowing hard and looking unsteady on their feet. I think they lack the character to win this.
