Liverpool’s loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup won’t count when they tally up the points for the league table at the end of the season which will decide who wins the league. You’ve a lot to learn about the concept of league football and how it works.

I referenced recent form, if Liverpool fail to win today that will mean they have only won 1 game in 4. If United win today which they are on course to do they will have 7 wins in 7. One is title winning form, the other is not. You don’t seem to understand how form works.

I’m talking about current form mate. Livepool look like they could be about to falter, the heat is on them and I don’t think Klopp’s men will handle the pressure yet, the lack of silverware in his tenure is a barometer of that.

United on the other hand look set to record their 7th straight win under Solskjaer, I wouldn’t be surprised to see United finish above Liverpool at the season end.

One of those four Liverpool matches you mentioned and one of those seven Man U matches you referenced were FA Cup 3rd round matches. FA Cup 3rd round matches have no relevance to title winning form. Liverpool had won 9 of their last 10 league matches going in to today. The only blip was a somewhat unlucky defeat away to champions and 2nd placed Manchester City. That’s title winning form from Liverpool.

Yes, more evidence that Liverpool are crumbling, Klopp is currently 0/12 in trophies he has contested. I think the pressure is mounting and they are cracking. Man Utd on the other hand are coming like a train gathering momentum. The likelihood is they probably won’t catch City but they could well catch Liverpool.

A 10th win in their last 11 league matches for crumbling Liverpool to extend their lead over second place Manchester City to 7 points but more importantly to maintain their 16 point and 28 goal advantage over Man who are apparently their real title challengers. 45 points to play for after this weekend.

Are you a bit worried you jumped the gun when they went 7 clear. You’ve been walking on eggshells since City beat them.

I just made a point that Klopp still has to win silverware with Liverpool and they are beginning to look a little jittery.

That sort of analysis tends to send you mad and you only seem to come pop up after the fact, I wish you had to courage to display your bravado when the game was in the melting pot.

Pressure will start to come on Man U now that they’ve catapulted themselves into title contention. Well and all as Coach Solskjaer has done so far, will his experience at Molde and Cardiff be an adequate grounding for a title tilt in the EPL. Some questions too over the players who weren’t able to measure up to the title winning demands of the coach who knows most about delivering league titles in the modern day game, Coach Mourinho.
