Premier League 2022/23

Weā€™ll be here now and weā€™ll be here again.

They got off on some technicalities previously i think so Iā€™d say a few accountant types were raging and itching to go again.

I remember that alright. Hence the phrase ā€˜one of theā€™. At the end of the day city will win it and arsenal or united wonā€™t become one of the biggest outsiders ever to win a major league.

Haaland got plenty of kicks yesterday. This was the best of them.

Chelsea out here v West Ham.

Mudryk, Enzo, Felix all playing plus Reece James back. They surely win or Potter must be under big pressure, incredible collction of players.

Big one for Joao Felix.

Chelsea robbed of a penalty.

Brentford equaliser yesterday, Lee Mason forgot to draw the lines for the Var check apparently. If Arsenal fall short by a point come May it will have cost them the title

Hopefully

Assuming Bournemouth and Southampton are fucked. Looking up the table Leeds, Wolves, West Ham all starting to show signs of life.
Are Everton too big to fail?

Southampton are due two newanager bounces now, so they could really pop.

Btw Nathan Jones lol. Thats as bad as there has ever been. 8 games I think. One point

Bournemouth have put together some decent results too, so its unfair to write them off either.

Les Reed says hello.

One win. Three points. At Goodison Park against Frank Lampardā€™s Everton.

11 managers have won a game at St Marys this season and Nathan Jones isnā€™t one of them.

Until around a week ago I knew some guy called Nathan Jones was the manager of Southampton but didnā€™t know anything about him, Iā€™d never seen him interviewed and didnā€™t know what he looked like. I assumed given he had managed Luton that he was probably some stereotypical southern English spiv.

Then I became aware of him properly and I instantly warmed to him as a tremenjus character. Had he not been sacked I would have gone on a prolonged and blatantly transparent wind up that I thought he was a brilliant manager in the same way I did with Steve Kean when he was with Blackburn.

Our league needs Nathan Jones back. Itā€™s been two days and heā€™s already been gone too long.

Jones might rock up at Leeds at the rate managerial candidates are turning them down.

A head de ball like Gattuso would be ideal for a club like Leeds.

When Angus Deayton was sacked from Have I Got News For You they never appointed a permanent replacement, opting for a different guest presenter each week.

I think now is the time for a football team to try this approach to management and I think Leeds are the team to do it. It would be sensational television if they did a fly on the wall documentary. Letā€™s face it, theyā€™re going down anyway so they might as well drag a bit of premium content out of it, and premium content is what football is all about these days.

Nketiah should have scored. Heads wide from a free header from around 12 yards from a beautiful Zinchenko cross.

KDB touch of class
