In fairness to Kompany he signed before the Abu Dhabi money arrived. Iâd argue lads like Walker, Bernardo Silva and KdB are more unlikeable than Aguero. Kun Aguero always seemed like a reasonably alright sort.
The thing is with City is that deep down even their own supporters know they donât belong on this stage and its all a fraud.
Augero scored famous goals though.

Those games were made by the away goals rule. They were indeed shit on a stick. But you could not have got that tension without the away goals rule. Liverpool lost everything if Chelsea scored at Anfield in both the '05 and '07 ties.
Chelsea v Barcelona '09 and '12 were also made by the away goals rule.
There are other reasons why the Champions League is now deathly dull but Migs is wrong when he says the absence of away goals isnât a major reason.
In the same way Noel Gallagher is âAbu Dhabi Manâ in the absence of any great former footballers to act in that role, Tim Lovejoy was âChelsea Manâ in the 2000s. Nathan Barley had to have been based on Tim Lovejoy.
