What difference will it make to spurs ? If you are finishing fourth youâve no business in the champions league.
Liverpool developed this bizarre obsession with finishing fourth and making it out to be some sort of achievement.

Chelsea finished 33 points behind Liverpool in 4th and went on to win the Chanpions League 
AC Milan and Liverpool also won the Champions League having finished fourth the previous season.
Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool and possibly some more I havenât looked into all reached the final having finished fourth the previous season.
Itâs a devalued tournament since they started letting in runners up, 3rd, 4th and 5th placed teams.
