The word on the Anthony deal is ten hag wanted to sign him for 40-50 million which is probably still plenty but it would have been the going rate.
Apparently the man United owners made a 100 million available to fill the greenwood void who had a value of around 80-100 million in their eyes. Ajax kept rejecting bids and the guys in charge of man uniteds signings kept bidding and bidding. Ten hag had nothing to do with the numbers involved.
