Unless Liverpool pull off 2 or 3 big signings before deadline i think they are looking at 6th at very best.

VVD a year older and still has no protection in front of him.

There’s no RB.

The centre half in on loan literally had a nervous breakdown last year.

As mentioned, there’s no Midfield from a defensive point of view. None.

Ekitike is out for the year. Isak cant go 5 games without an injury.

Wirtz is not suited to the EPL. Technically very good but he doesn’t like it up him and isn’t athletic (hope I’m wrong)

Rio is still potential.

It’s gas. You had @neilld saying Szoboslai is the best midfielder in the league during the week and now he shouldn’t be played there at all. I’d agree though that he’d offer far more creativity at RB than Frimpong. Liverpool would’ve been better off with former player Neco Williams than Frimpong tbh.

Isak got a goal but I dunno about him at all. He would want to ate a few spuds. TBF he’s still finding his way back from injury.

I don’t watch them much but the amount of times he lost the ball trying to do too much in midfield was shocking. He’s actually extremely good covering defensively though

He was dispossessed very cheaply a couple of times alright. MacAllister with a few very careless passes as well. Szoboslai’s greatest strengths are his shooting and fitness. He could be a Trent lite at right-back. Although I’d take Trent back next summer if he were available. Frimpong still doesn’t make sense as a signing.

The three midfielders are attack minded players more suited to pressing than controlling a game. It’s why teams play low block which such success against Liverpool- they are extremely easy to turn over and break on…
