Prepare to welcome your new IMF overlords

1 euro will be worth £0.787564.

Nobody knows. There is no precedent for a common currency break up. Hang on to any coins you get with an eagle on the back

I cleverly converted all my €’s into Zimbwean dollars.

I am now a millionaire.

What ever became of the two Irish lads who raised a load of venture capital about 5 years ago to develop a limitless energy supply out of magnets ?

and will then proceed to lose value when it floats, or maybe not seeing as the Euro is fucked anyway

Morgan Kelly seems to think it will survive, despite popular opposition growing in Germany.

Ze Germans can go and fuck themselves they got us into this mess with their shite economy in the 00’s.

While England burns, our 10 year bond yields are now nearly below 10%.

We have turned the corner.

Will you tell them or will I?

The road to August 2014 starts here.

What happens then?

We go to war as liberators, not as conquerors.

sid will finally write a half decent pun

That hurts.

Was talking to someone working at an offshore bank the other day. Was saying that their new accounts section is inundated with requests for new accounts what with people selling off their shares and fleeing the Eurozone.

There was rumours SocGen was in big trouble yesterday. The CEO has since strongly denied this but its starting to get that rumour mongering feel it had before 2009, when they said bear sterns and then Lehman were in big trouble which ultimately led to a run on the banks.

The funny thing here is Irish Banks could end up being safe havens as they have dealt with their shit while the rest of them have just buried their problems.

The SocGEn thing could be huge, and would go along with what a lot of commentators had been saying for the past few years. It has often been alluded to in articles that the big French and even German banks were still covering up massive losses.

No smoke without fire etc.
