Ah lovely.
Ivor Callely has been arrested by the fraud squad regarding mobile phone receipts.
Convinent when the anglo bonds are due to be paid back today.
When they paid back the last set of bonds they had Seanie Fitz arrested the same day.

Ah, that’s an astute observation Runt.
The montly Greeks are on the verge of default story is in full swing today. Coalition partners can’t agree a deal on new austerity measures, the EU have said no more money until a deal is reached and implementation begins straight away. They also have €14bn worth of bonds falling due at the start of March which they can’t pay until they get the new EU money.
Greek commisioner to the EU has said that what were previously contingency scenarios for a Greek exit from the Eurozone are now being openly examined as exit plans.
All this beating around the bush is pointless. Let them default.
Must say I found the open potrayal of the German leaders as Nazis (they had Merkel in what looked like an SS uniform) in Greek newspapers an interesting development. Europe is starting to fall apart again, won’t be long before we have a split Europe with capitalist societies in Germany, France, UK and hard left societies in the poorer nations like Greece and Portugal.
I would imagine a drift to the hard right is more likely.
To save Greece we need to destroy it.
Wouldn’t be the first time…
As good a place as any to put this. Interesting enough tactics once you can get over the annoyance of yer mans voice and the dodgy spelling on the first screen.

Enda has just announced that we’ll be having a referendum on that Treaty thingy
Ceann Comhairle: We’ll give the leaders of the opposition 5 minutes to respond to the Taoiseach’s announcement.
Gerry Adams: Yeah, but we’ll give Fianna Fáil 5 minutes as well.
We’re going to defer the payment of the promissory notes until 2025 :strokechin:
The country is so fucked. Looks like 2016 before the fall levels out on retail & consumer. If we did not have an export sector we could shut down and liquidate everything right now.
Meanwhile the manic gap on current revenue to spending is going to fuck us over some more year after year as we burn cash on pensions, public waste and welfare
solutions on a postcard to ends c/o big Phil the flute
Germany and France might have gone to war with each other before then.
Spot on WTB, I’m predicting French troops in the Ruhr by 2020.
More like germans in paris given the frogs success in getting that gunman out.
Anyone care to explain this promissory note “deal” to me?
I can’t get my head around it.
We were due to pay them 3 billion odd cola bottles this year as part of the original anglo bailout. They basically extended that to 2025 so we just pay them interest on them until then. 10 years worth of hyper inflation will put paid to that debt in no time
