Mayweather just much more classy in the end. Finished him off really well with some cracking shots.

Ref was useless early on but admittedly Mayweather did make a mug of him. Bit sick after seeing that. Mayweather is a bit of a sly foker though. He may as well just stand with his arse in the air at times. When Mayweather bent over the ref told Ricky to not hit him, if thats the way to avoid being hit then boxing becomes a joke.
I agree the ref was absolutely awful but even still Hatton didn’t really land any clean shots other than the jab early doors that forced PBF to stumble. PBF’s precision, class and hand speed were all too much in the end and he finished it off very impressively.
'Twas funny at the start with the camera spinning around and zooming in on all the Hollywood celebrities and boxing greats from Denzel Washington to Sugar Ray Leonard to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to Spike Lee etc etc and then up popped AC Slater from Saved By The Bell.

AC Slater I noticed that too. The commentator said “I’m told this is the fellow who won dancing with the stars”
Mayweather did make a mug of Hatton. PBF did exactly what he said he’d do and he gave Hatton a boxing lesson.
AC Slater was a very impressive Greco/Roman Wrestler back in the day. What a wonderful show Saved By The Bell was. Mr Belding, Screech Powers, Lisa Turtle, Zak Morris, Jesse whatever her name was that ended up getting her Manchester Citys out in that film Striptease and of course the lovely Kelly Kopowski (spelling?) that fooked off to Beverley Hills 90210. Legends one and all. Then they did the spin-off show, Saved By The Bell - The College Years, and it simply wasn’t the same.
I recorded it WoW - I’ll put it online but it will take about an hour I’d say because it’s in a weird format.

A disastrous decision to stay up rather than get up to watch the fight meant that by half five those fucking Romanian ads were really doing my head in.
The stupid channel inserts that bookended the one ad between each round were at least as long as the ad. Why don’t they just get rid of the inserts and sell another ad?
I decided to hit town to pass by some of the hours leading up to the fight. When I got home and saw that the Lacey v Tv Show Winner fight was only starting I stuck on a bit of Shane Warne and that passed a bit of time too.
