I expected Turfcutter to look a little different…

Ya, I expected more straw and cow shit.

Christmas haircut done and dusted.
Should be just right for Christmas day mass.

Bloody seasonal Mass goers - it’s due to the likes of you that the likes of myself and Tinnion can’t get a seat in the Church at Christmas Day and us there all year.

Speaking of haircuts, my hair has gone a bit all over the shop. I prefer the local banter while getting barbered, and I haven’t been home in ages.

I made my mother cry one christmas cause I wouldn’t go to mass.
That is how mad I am.

My brother was giving me money as well and I still held firm.

Did I tell you about the time I chatted to a hot bird on a bus?

No I’d say that’s a good one.

Did I tell you about the time a bird from my office wanted me to go home with her after the pub, but I didn’t.

Theres a barber on Camden street does a haircut for €7.

He does a grand job of it so I leave him the ten bob.

Been to him 3 times now and no complaints so far.

Clearing the latter part of the afternoon to get the Christmas cut done. Looking forward to chatting with the Turks on main street and reading Esquire

got a noble trim yesterday of a Maltese gentleman for 7.50

Where was that Puke?

15 euro, Fat Tonys Liosban, tuam rd, Galway.

Not great value, apart from the charming polish lady who carried out the job.

In a barbers shop

Go to the Fat Tony’s on Middle Street anymore. There’s a young turkish looking lad called Billy running it now and he’s the best barber in Galway by miles. The haircuts are spot on and there’s zero awkward small talk. He’ll also offer you a coffee or if it’s in the evening, a beer. Most definitely an alright sort.

what currency?
