I’m assuming was an oversight to omit St Pats from your list?
If you want a proper football experience for young Ungo Bungo then a night on the Camac terrace is your call.
Full of auld lads screaming abuse at assistant refs for 90 mins…
In fairness Pats play decent football, but the ground is not a great standard, on the plus side a decent chip van is there to serve your food needs
Whatever ground you go to hope you enjoy

I didn’t forget St Pats but I didn’t fancy the hassle of driving there. However, the thought of driving to the Red Cow, then getting a Luas, then walking, watching a game with a kid who may or may not get bored, then go for a pizza and pint with the youngster before embarking on a walk, then the Luas before getting the car and having to drive home sounds fantastic and definitely giving me cause to reconsider.

I should just stay in a hotel beside Liffey Valley and make a little holiday out of it. I will ask Missus Ungo Bungo if she fancies a little break. Herself and the smallest Ungo Bungo can look out at the car park when we are on our adventures around Inchicore.

I have decided on United Park. I will probably hold off until April/May when the nights wont be so cold. Bring on the Cobh, the Bray, the Wexford…
