Pubs opening

You don’t have to drink when in there. But would you be allowed keep the mask on if.you weren’t? Same with banks- is there a security concern if people keep their faces covered?

There isn’t much that can’t be gotten on t’internet these days

Depends if they have a gun in their hand or not.

the whole street is full of Indian restaurants now, some of them are unreal

It would Be a great weekend in dingle if the pubs were open. The Guiness and punchestown plus a few big soccer and rugby games.

I was due to be in Dingle this weekend.

The May Bank Holiday is probably my favourite of all the bank holidays.

The whole summer is pregnant with promise at this time of year.

August 10th :pint:

Who is the father of Promise?

Some Nigerian lad called Ifeanyi?

Be September before we see a pub opened with social guidelines

August according to today’s plan.

At the earliest, no chance

They’ll definitely open in August. We won’t be 4 deep at the bar but they’ll be open in some form

Foxy Johns is a hardware shop…

Who knows .

It might be more profitable for some pubs to stay closed and receive benefits than reopen under severe social distancing restrictions limiting numbers allowed in and therefore miniscule turnover compared to before, all the while costs will surely be dearer. So I guess a lot of pubs even if allowed to won’t be in a position to reopen.

Ok, but does the covid unemployment payment end when pubs can reopen or do reopen?
