Because we left it late there wasn’t much about… Gone for the Killarney oaks… the Brehon was there alright, which is nice, but couldn’t be arsed forking out 450 notes when I won’t be in the hotel much… Think we got the Oaks for 300.

Oaks is OK. Functional. Bit of a stroll from town though.

Dyne is casual very good value spot inside in middle of town for grub in the evening

If looking for something a bit fancier there is a very nice resteraunt in cellar of Ross Hotel in middle of town. Else the main resteraunt in Malton is top notch with v classy food.

This is best place in locality though probably need to book it.

Bit out of town but well worth it. Definitely chance Dyne one of the evenings. 60 quid will see ye right for a very good feed and wine

Good atmosphere there of a Sunday evening though when it’s kind of quiet and Daithí Kavanagh and the boys are playing the trad. Friday and Saturday nights are horrendous, the front being very narrow and nothing but youngsters and cunts going around the back. Go in there any other time it’s grand I reckon.

Macken’s/The Undertaker
Simon’s
The Sky and The Ground
Mary’s Bar.

Macken’s is a sweat box and ya waiting ages for a pint. Mary’s bar (and Gaynor’s) are the only two pubs I haven’t been to. I hope to one day frequent there to hear a few tales from Frank. Sky and Simon’s not bad either, both top notch for the craft beer (I’m not a fan of craft beer).

Can any Wexford poster genuinely say they’ve drunk in Heffernan’s !!?? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes::grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Is Ryans (camden street) after becoming a cool spot now or something? There was a queue of at least 100 people round the corner to get in there Saturday night. What’s that all about?
