Occasionally Labane forgets he’s trying to distinguish himself as an intelligent racist and he posts something ridiculous that one of the stupid racists like maroonandwhite would write. It’s a shame when he loses the run of himself like that.

Unsurprisingly, there has been radio silence from @glasagusban. Someone as vocal/shouty as Glas really should have an immediate response to a question on their agenda.
I suppose the 150 intellectuals that signed the open letter on justice and open depate are all racist too? (Not that an open letter is likely to achieve much, it is still worth noting.)
The free exchange of information and ideas, the lifeblood of a liberal society, is daily becoming more constricted. While we have come to expect this on the radical right, censoriousness is also spreading more widely in our culture: an intolerance of opposing views, a vogue for public shaming and ostracism, and the tendency to dissolve complex policy issues in a blinding moral certainty. We uphold the value of robust and even caustic counter-speech from all quarters. But it is now all too common to hear calls for swift and severe retribution in response to perceived transgressions of speech and thought.
Noam Chomsky? Racist! Fareed Zakaria? Racist!

The likes of Chris Wallace does a very good show on Fox, free of the pro Trump zealotry on a lot of the rest of the station.
I wouldn’t recommend MSNBC, CNN or Fox for news. All are shit.
