You can sail with me in my yellow submarine.

His wife was a spent piece of used jet trash
Made good bloody Marys, kept her mouth shut most of the time
Had a little Chihuahua named Carlos
That had some kind of skin disease and was totally blind

Where e’er we go, we celebrate
The land that makes us refugees
From fear of priests with empty plates
From guilt and weeping effigies
And we dance

We’ll dance…
But no one will dance with us
In this zany town

Which one of the band wrote the lyrics?

That song, Thousands are Sailing, is unusual as MacGowan had nothing to do with it other than sing it.

Philip Chevron wrote it - lyrics and music.

Pretty much all other songs were written by MacGowan lyrically and many were written by him completely.

Thanks. Had some recall that it was not his. Isn’t Albert Bridge also not McGowan’s?

I’m not sure to be honest.

Murder, plunder, fallabella clear the way, cheating stealing dilly ally ey, ducking diving, fallabella clear the way, dilly ally oh dilly ally dayy.

Dadiddly kwa kwa

Dadiddly kwa kwa

My brother knows Karl Marx
He met him eating mushrooms in the public park
He said: “What do you think of my manifesto?”
“I like your manifesto, put it to the testo”

Whares me jumper, Whares me jumper, oh no

Communication is the problem to the answer

Look at your young men fighting,
Look at your women crying,
Look at your young men dying the way they’ve always done before …

c’maaaaaaaan.

Now we sip Champagne when we thirsty”
