Gazza not being allowed in was a fucking travesty
I’m tempted to open a new market on what way the pools panel deliberate, though i will leave it be…
The 20th anniversary of that 1990 England-Germany semi-final must have brought the memories flooding back for Gazza. He was always sorry that he chickened out of that shoot out and vowed to himself that if he could get involved in an other one, he would. And he was as good as his word.

Quality piece on Moaty’s funeral from today’s Metro:
Meanwhile, friends, neighbours and people Moat (pictured) had never met paid homage.
One stranger was Theresa Bystram, 45, who travelled 480km (300 miles) from Weybridge, Surrey, on an overnight coach with three of her teenage sons to be at the crematorium.
She said: ‘I absolutely loved him. I just think he is a hero and I wanted to pay my respects.
‘He kept them coppers on the run all that time. Fair enough people died but they must have deserved it.’
Fantastic.
That’s touching stuff right there.
Best thread of the year, by a mile
Teresa Bystram took her three youngest sons on a 300-mile coach trip to the funeral on Tuesday.
The 53-year-old, from Weybridge, Surrey, said it had been a “nice day out” for her kids, adding “it was better than Legoland”.
She told The Sun: “If social services have a go at me for it, I’ll tell them where to go. As for taking my kids, I’m glad I did and I couldn’t care less what other people think.”
Miss Bystram said she had originally planned to take the children on a “pilgrimage” to Rothbury, Northumberland, where 37-year-old Moat shot himself after a stand-off with police.
“They enjoyed it [the funeral]. It was better than Legoland or any other theme park. We took a packed lunch and the kids liked going to the funeral.
“As far as I’m concerned it was a day out for my kids and an educational one for them, too. It’s also something for them to remember when they grow up.”
The single mother, who has swastika and White Power tattoos, is paid several hundred pounds a month in benefits for the five children who live with her.
Moat was on the run for a week after shooting his ex-girlfriend Samantha Stobbart, 22 and her new boyfriend, Chris Brown, 24. He also shot and blinded David Rathband, 42, a policeman.
No description could do justice to the stupidity on show here
Moatys first anniversary approaching time goes so fast… This was the thread of last summer!
I see Moat has claimed another victim.
A police that he blinded in the shooting spree has taken his own life after struggling to come to terms with his disability.
I didn’t see that coming, and neither did he.
Very sad
Bandage’s post about him living in drains like one of the turtles was a cracker
What a thread. Some cracking posts .
+1 Fucking horrible.
Ah come off it Flano , Jokes about the death of P.C. Rathband are not raulmoatly funny.
