I didn’t. The various tastes in each course sated the appetite. As I mentioned, there was tasty bread dished out to keep you ticking over. The modern Franco-Irish are not like America where 2 kilos of tasteless stodge is shoveled out to you and it’s a race to the bottom to be rolled home.
