A dry rub first: toasted caraway and coriander seeds crushed, mustard powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Glaze was: ketchup, brown sauce, Frank’s hot sauce, mustard, cider vinegar, honey and water.

Do you ever use a slow cooker for a Cut of Beef?

I’ve a mind to do barbacoa at the weekend. Need to find a decent recipe but something like brisket in the slow cooker.

I had a pork chop from Higgins’s there for my tea. Gone before I remembered to take a photo of it. Savage piece of meat, with their proprietary seasoning. Only 3 quid as well.
