I’ve no idea what you’ve eaten. You’re taking a strange turn here.
Which one of the two rival Mexican eateries in Limerick is best? I’ve been meaning to check out one of them. What’s good in there?
9 euro for a Beef Roll
Relieved to hear it pal
Badass burritos on Catherine St by a long way. Pretty much only does burritos. The pork is usually very good.
It was a long way short of most burrito places when I was there. Must try again. There’s a burrito place called cantina after opening in the petrol station I’m thomond, I’ll have to check that out at some stage.
I’ve eaten burritos everywhere from Galway, to Dublin, to Limerick and Badass is definitely up there with the best of them.
Did any of the chefs cook for the king of Mexico?
No, it’s just a woman from Thomondgate who went to San Francisco on holidays once.
She opens erratically and preps a fairly limited amount of ingredients so frequently runs out and closes up.
That other “Mexican” crowd are a bunch of spoofers. I’d cook up better Mexican fare in my kitchen on the SCR. Flavourless.
I only went to yer wan once when she opened on O Connell St. Myself and @ChocolateMice went to go in to her on Catherine Street before a Super blues game (I think) before and she was closed
Her pork burrito is the equal of any I’ve had in Ireland. To be fair she takes a lot of shit over it but her opening hours are fairly clear and she works plenty for a one woman operation.
Burritos are bang average in Ireland… If you want good fast Mexican food, go to the states… I wouldn’t waste my time eating it in Ireland, usually very over priced for what you get.
Next to the wine section?
A petrol station😀Would you get a nice bottle of wine there too.“Gimme a burrito and a latte there bud will ye”
I found boojum in Galway to be fairly nice. Healthier than most fast food as well
A well traveled man.
A well traveled man.
Carlow is the only place I haven’t been to
That’s a very well presented plate of food. The work of an artist you might say.
