Effectively you’re eating bacon in your Christmas dinner and gravy isn’t an issue then so I don’t see how it could be an issue in August.

Gravy on bacon is wrong, as is white sauce on bacon. Mustard is acceptable as an accompaniment or a bit of relish on cold bacon.
