Ravenous Part Deux, the cheap likes thread

Stayed there recently, lovely hotel. Staff were very good and dealt very well with an issue which meant we had no hot water in the room.

How did they deal with the issue?

Gave us the use of the spa facilities for an hour and waived the €10 parking charge.

My kids couldn’t reach the hot tap either.

Well I haven’t fucked off to a brothel or anything of that nature so it’s not like anything you’d understand.

No onion, mushroom, herbs. It looks cold and artificial. You must try harder. Keep the chin up.

I appreciate the feedback, we’re always learning.
Ideally mushroom, onion and potato but those things take lots of time,
Cheese ham and tomato takes minutes and a six egg omelette has fed 4 people with a bit of sourdough.

Onion and mushroom actually cook quicker than a tomato, that is something for you to know for future reference.

Spud unless it is pre~boiled is not ideal in an omelette unless you use it lightly otherwise it’s a tortilla.

Mushroom takes an awful lot longer than sliced tomato mate, (undercooked mushrooms are disgusting) as do cooked potatoes to give them that nice texture you’d like in an omelette. I’d like the onions with a bit of colour as well, if you’re gonna do something you might as well do it right

This will be daycent around 5 o clock when it thickens up. Plenty of red wine and garlic added.

Cooking it in the bathroom is a bit odd though

Family gone off somewhere and fuckall in the house to ate only a bit of ham from the Christmas and im warped from the hunger no bread no eggs fuckall.

The ultimate in comfort eating, 9 hour slow cooked beef, buttery mash, onion gravy and green beans, washed down with a cold glass of milk

What cut of beef? What went in with it?

It was a bit of brisket, seared and stuck into the slow cooker at 9 this morning with onions and garlic,
The onion gravy was unbelievable though

No, too much fat, red wine and beef stock and shitloads of onions
