Dunph has been harvsting a big tapeworm inside him for the last 10years to keep his body in shape
It’s grand i’m bulimic…
Anyone else think that Domino’s pizza and Pizza hut are vastly overrated and overcharging bastards?
and what fast food isn’t? if you can’t get off your lazy arse to cook on a friday night you’re gonna get screwed
Domino’s - Yes.
Pizza Hut - Certainly not.
They sure are, but I find all pizzerias are Puke. The nicest pizzas I’ve ever ate are Monroes pizzas in Galway, order them from next door and sit down in the pub with a Tiger beer and scoff away. Unfortunetly they’re an absoloute bomb to buy alltogethher.
Pizzas should be one of the cheapest takeaways to buy, it sickens my hole the prices they charge. They must be making loads of profit per pizza.
Friday night and Sunday night are the only acceptable nights in my book for ordering take away. The chinese at home is very medicore so can usually cook something better myself in 15 minutes. Used to live very close to a quality Indian joint in Dublin though, it was nearly the ruination of me.
Domino’s is awful awful shit alright Puke. Never had Pizza Hut. Mizzoni’s is ok-ish for a take away pizza place.
I get the dough in the english market in Cork, you’d get similar in any Iago shop, or any market or Italian type place, they are all over Dublin anyway. Roll it very hin ( for no particular reason i make it rectangle). Put in fan over at about 160-170 for about 15 mins. Then have all your toppings cut up. I tend to go with Jalapeanos, Chorizo (really bad for you, but fuck it its only a few slices), peppers, onions, maybe chilli flakes if i’m feeling very hot () and grated mozeralla and put them on the pizza(thats fairly done now) for about 10-12 mins at 190-200. Keep an eye on it though, if you’ve a nice even base its grand, but if (like i did at the start) go thin in the middle then that can burn away and leaves holes.
Sometimes i go mad on the pork and throw some Clon black pudding on as well. Best thing is with the dough once your used to it, you can keep it in fridge for a few days or freeze it. If you only want a small pizza then off you go, if you want to show off to a bird then thats good too. Your in charge.
Why is Choirizo so bad for you?
Penne Choirizo is my pasta of choice for lunch when I have training in the evening.
I’m not being a pizza snob, or food snob now, but they are disgusting Puke. The bread they use is so far removed from the Romano type bread that they use in Italy its a joke. They are American Pizzas, not Italian.
Pizza Hut is the worst of them all Pikeman, believe me.
Clonkilty pudding on a pizza? You may be onto something there Kev boy

Why so Kev? I’ve only been in there once but i had a very enjoyable dining experience.
Cafe Bar Deli, used to do a Black pudding pizza, it was very nice.
The place in Limerick? Is that place still there?

Well any pork isn’t great for a human, and its a complete no-no to have before exercise. I’ve read about it several times as to why technically, but can’t quite remember. I think its just its so hard for the body to break down. Complex calories, or condensed calories, can’t remember which.
When they talk about chicken and pasta for before training and games etc, they talk about literally chicken and pasta, nothing else, it ain’t that easy to eat.
Chorizo is very high in the bad fats, and massive in calories Runt.
Sorry, i was gutted as well, and i’m now having to watch such things slightly, certainly around training. I tend to have chicken or fish with lettuce and a few chopoped up peppers and onions. If i’m having pasta i’ll have it the night before, its just my body, slow metabolism. I never eat within 4 hours of anything for instance.
We should all be eating for our blood type, they are some great books out there on it, all you need to know is your type.
Only thing is there will be some disapointments.
Ah balls. I though Kev was some sort of [COLOR=“Red”]culinary ge[COLOR=“Red”]nius [COLOR=“Red”]to be honest.
yes- the pizzas arent great there at all
I tend to fry it up a little first, then put it in broken up a bit with the other toppings when they go on base.
I forgot to say i use tomato paste mixed with a tomato sauce i also get from Iago. Very thin spread though.
