Ravenous

Oh Christ I’d never ate those pre made ones. The dressing is full of sugar.

I suppose you ate it with your bare hands and gulped down a pint of milk with it… you utter roaster.

Ah if you eat enough of it you’ll be fine. I ate 2 slices of carved ham with my fingers like a real man as well.

Not pre-made, pal. You pick away at whatever you want. I stay away from the pasta stuff and coleslaw and the like. The only thing that would be slightly dodgy would be the dressing but you’d need something to give it a kick.

Was in Serious Pie in Seattle yesterday where I enjoyed a seasonal mushroom, truffle cheese and prosciutto pizza.

Best pizza I have ever eaten.

Sounds divine.

As an aside, what Fitzgibbon Cup games did ESPN show yesterday?

Missed the Fitzgibbon Cup but they have a highlights show to tonight on Fox Sport tonight.

The pizza has featured on Food Networks best thing I ever ate tv show.

If you are ever in the area I would urge everybody to try it.

I also visited the original Starbucks coffee shop which was underwhelming but Starbucks have opened a new roastery which is sort of a willie wonka for coffee with coffee as theatre - pour over, vacuum extraction, single origin beans etc. they didn’t have bulletproof coffee on the menu but it was an experience

Seattle is a wonderful place.

Sounds like a great spot alright. Pizza and coffee. You wouldnt get that in any other part of America.

You probably drink Budweiser. Beer is beer. Innit.

Whole wheat pasta, spoon of sundried tomato pesto, chorizo, cherry tomatoes, chilli flakes and black pepper.

2 rashers, 3 sausages, 2 fried eggs, black and white pudding, mushrooms, beans and fried tomato. All lashed with harissa…

Not a carb in sight

All the food wankers have finally done a uturn on ‘fatty’ foods and realized that sugar and carbs really are the enemy.

How did you cook the sausages and rashers?

Grill.

How did you fry the eggs?

With rape seed oil.

Kedgeree. Different, pretty decent.

How do ye lads survive at all on the meagre diets that wouldn’t keep a woman fed.
I was putting out a few loads of slurry all morning for the brother and in fairness his wife put up some feed on the table. I had about 4 ham sandwiches and 2 home made scones at 11:00, this kept my belly ticking over till 1:15 when she gave us a feed of roast chicken, mashed AND roast potatoes with HOMEMADE gravy, the veg was mashed carrot and parsnip which I was never a fan of, all of this followed on with bought-in apple crumble topped with ice cream. Well Lordy god I couldn’t move until about half two after that feed.
Trouble is though I’m mad for something from the chipper now. But in light of Tastyotis criticism of my diet I’m determined to hold out and maybe just have a few gateaux jam tarts instead.

That’s the style

That’s what this thread was meant for.
