Did anyone see Woods today? The hole where he stopped on his downswing? Unreal!! Just as he was backswinging a bird fly in front of him and to avoid hitting it he stopped his swing,And we all know how fast his swing is so I dont know how he did it without breaking his back.

Started to watch the golf just after I read your post about backing Stenson. Turn it on and straight away I see Stenson having a double bogey on the 11th. I had to laugh!
Yeah as soon as I backed him he fell away. Still have the rest of the field versus Woods and Mickeslon and that is looking pretty good at present.

In fairness to Pdraig at least he had a go last night. He got his eagle and then realised he needed to pick up another couple of shots to get in contention and he went for the green in 2 at that par 5 and fell short. At least he went for it and had the composure at the end to pick up another shot so he didn’t fall away.
Cracking comments about the Ressurection from Johnson when he won. The most important thing for him today was the Resurrection. He went on to thank God who it seems had been very supportive.

I heard he was 3 over for the day after the first 10 so his strong finish could be considered aas window dressing again. Or am I being harsh?
Yeah he through it away,got a birdie and a eagle then found the water at 15 and messed up completly,should have done better so no Bandage your not being harsh! ;D
Been thinking about this a bit more and can’t believe I initially felt he’d given it a good shot. He did nothing of the sort of course. His usual fall away in front of the cameras then gets an eagle to leave himself back in with a shout. Whether going for the green in 2 on the 15th was right or not is irrelevant. The point is the pressure came back on and he fluffed it. Picked up a birdie at the end when it didn’t matter anymore. Same old story. Apologies for naively suggesting otherwise earlier.
