Was out in the car there earlier delivering shopping to a cocooner and I pass this lad on one of these bikes that has a hatch for a child in the front and the child in it and two shopping bags on the back and he texting away on the phone.

No hassle at all. Give him a big wide berth. Thought it was very irresponsible to have a kid in the cockpit and to be texting.
Maybe he was texting the kid to make sure he was comfortable.
I was driving along the NCR there earlier between Ballybough and Dorset Street. Got a good run on the lights and clocked myself doing 47 kph. At that point a chap on an electric bike passed me on the inside. Continued to pass cars on the inside all the way up through Phibsboro. I’d reckon he was easily doing 50 kph. No helmet nothing. Madness.
