People will have to live without socialising. They will also have to get used to the guards stopping them and asking them what they are doing every day. That will be the new normal
Hijabs are in!
It’s no harm. Lads here had it too easy for years.
I’ll do two years of that standing on my head.
Think only lads who can “hold their drink” be allowed in pubs to start with
Can’t have lads slobbering around all over the place hammered
The GAA are holding a special congress on Friday.
They are cancelling the whole season. No gaa in 2020.
It would be immoral to run this season off with what is going on in the country and the challenge being faced
Presumably they are taking the suggestion of Prof Sam McConkey on board and looking at changing the rules of hurling to allow for social distancing on the pitch.
No more rucks
Better of now to spend the rest of the year trying to get the country to a position whereby it is some way functional. Much as it pains me to say, sport can be rebooted next year.
It’s been non contact for a few years now anyway.
As pioneered by Waterford in the 2008 final against Kilkenny.
It’s a contact game now. John Doyle or some one of the Tipp legends said it should be a two step rule now, proper hip and whip is coming back in.
It’s 1888 since there was a gap on the AI roll of honour. We’ve come through two world wars and still managed championships. It’ll be played this year
Fellas should be made tackle with their arm with no Hurley behind their back. Like the Spanish footballers defend in the penalty area
Ireland wasn’t in any world war
Or the 2011 Munster final when Waterford engaged the offside trap.
