The GAA are holding a special congress on Friday.
They are cancelling the whole season. No gaa in 2020.
It would be immoral to run this season off with what is going on in the country and the challenge being faced
Presumably they are taking the suggestion of Prof Sam McConkey on board and looking at changing the rules of hurling to allow for social distancing on the pitch.

Better of now to spend the rest of the year trying to get the country to a position whereby it is some way functional. Much as it pains me to say, sport can be rebooted next year.
