Doesn’t carry legal weight but surely provides the basis for a criminal prosecution. He’ll presumably have DOB’s backing but this has to put the coalition’s anti-cronyism stance to the test. It would be astonishing to let it slide considering how much the tribunal cost.

It’s unbelievable to think that Lowry was cheered on by a tribe of idiots a few short weeks ago and is seen as a hero by so many. FF have had the vast majority of corrupt politicians in this country but that Lowry bastard is rotten to the core of his being. Any parliament with that prick in it is massively devalued.

Even now after four and a half hours of the report being in the public domain all independent.ie have to offer on it is a report from the Press Association that names Ben Dunne and an “Independent TD” as the main people involved.
This country is utterly fucked. After everything that’s happened in the last few years an open and shut case of corruption doesn’t even get covered in the biggest selling newspaper in the land. Turn out the lights.
