Republic of Ireland v Georgia 12/10/19 - Switzerland 15/10/19

Been the most positive.

Should have stuck that.

Set up for a Connolly 82nd winner in front of the traveling fans

Has Ireland away to Georgia ever been a good game?

On the plus side our two centre halves have looked very assured while Coleman has recovers after a shaky start. Hendrick despite being pressed early has worked hard and looked the most capable of the six non defenders to make something happen.

The rest have been fairly mediocre.

Whelan’s completed passes statistics should be interesting reading and probably don’t tell half the story either.

Jesus that’s as bad a half of football as I’ve seen.

Defensively we’ve been fine. Only really Robinson has offered anything elsewhere, Hendrick has been ok but too hesitant on the ball.

Georgia are harmless . If we score we win

Can’t see us winning this. Just so limited going forward.

Would be massive if we could nick it but I’m not expecting much…

Whelan, mcclean and Collins should be taken off at half time. Embarrassing stuff.

Hendrick is a decent player. He at least tries to be positive and has more legs than the other two. Hourihane isn’t doing anything at the moment, he needs to look for the ball ahead of Whelan.

McClean has been awful and is much better suited to playing against the better teams.

Robinson has at least looked halfway threatening.

I’m interested to see if McCarthy throws Connolly on for half an hour or goes with lads he’s more familiar with and has used in previous games.

Relax for fuck sake. Nil all, away at a tough place to go. There’s massive improvement in Ireland. They’ve threatened nothing.

We’ll win 2 nil

Doherty had to pull that back to Hendrick first time.

Lemon merengue for me

Good start.

Ronnie’s incredulity at run of the mill events is unparalleled.
