I’d argue not losing is a decent result away from home.

A really poor display and a number of seriously below par individual performances. I don’t know why McCarthy sat on that for so long, only bringing Browne on after around 70 minutes and not bringing on a second sub in Connolly until the 77th minute. All the while there were lads playing terribly and he left it. Strange stuff.

Poor game…0-0 nailed on when teams were announced. We will have to up it or we’ll be bate out the door Tuesday… At least Whelan wint start next week.
A point is a good result after the utter shite they produced for 80 odd minutes of that game. Connolly brought a lot when he came on.
Duffy was our best player by a distance.

I thought Connolly was really good when he came on. A noticeable quality improvement.
We created more chances in the 15 minutes Collins was off the field. He was miles off it and while we were poor it made it all the tougher without much of an outlet up there.
Whelan offered zero on the ball and often played us into trouble. Given how ineffective he was I think surely Browne or anyone would have improved us.

Going by his attitude tonight and regularly mouthing off in the media about the likes of Martin O’Neill (who, for all his faults, has achieved a lot in the game) I’d strongly suspect Matt Doherty is a bit of a cunt.
