The excellent Rescue Me is back on US stations. Watched Ep 1 there the other day, fooking top notch as always.
Michael J Fox appears in this season, looks like a funny character too. Tommy having some serious issues with his Dads death, and then there is “bootsy”. When you watch it, you’ll know.
A 6th Season has already been commissioned. Get in there.

There’s webisodes out there and everything, links from Season 4 - Season 5. Its one of the top shows on TV and is criminally overlooked at awards time. Leary is fantastic, but the whole cast is top notch and it doesnt skirt around tough fooking issues.

Tommys wife is looking fooking outstanding in this new series, truly outstanding.
great show but i missed most of the episodes in the last series on rte…what was the reason behind him putting on his dead mate’s fire jacket and freaking everyone out?..Also is that absolute cracker of a latino bird , that franco was tipping,with the mad brother in the new series?..

No sign of the Latino bird so far this season, but we’re only 1 episode in.
Watched Ep 2 last night, some good 9/11 stuff incorporated into a rant by Tommy Gavin to a french journo. Nothing to touch this when its on form, some great fire sequences as well as a car crash. Top notch stuff.

Dunno if RT have any intention of showing it, they never ever gave it a decent time slot, late night Friday was a death knell for any show. I guess the content is pretty serious, but it was still shabbily treated.
SKY1 showed S4, I presume they will get around to airing this too. Cant access SKY site, have a gander and see.
Aw this is really kicking along at a cracking pace this season lads. Wont say much here, but what I will say I’ll put it into a spoiler.
Tommy is back on the sauce, in a big way, and the show is all the better for it too. Michael J Fox’s charachter cameo’s in and out and leaves a lasting impression Tommy. Tommy is back banging the cousins wife and his own ex wife. The guys in the firehouse now own and bar, with all the conssequences that ensue. Some 9/11 stuff still going on also.

So Season 6 has begun of Rescue Me. This thread will suffice for discussions on those watching it at US Speed.
Very understated first episode, with a mind fuck of an intro. Bit of a cop out on the shooting incident mind you but the reveal that Tommy was to go to heaven only to end up in hell was an interesting revelation.
The final scene of him drinking in the church was back to the good ol days of S03 I think where Tommy was having the Jesus hallucinations.
All in all a decent return to form, with some great banter in the firehouse as usual. Tommys wife is looking hot as fuck as well, that down top shot was excellent work. 
Yes the end of the episode was brilliant. Fuck the world.
Best show on telly at the moment and seems to be getiting better and darker with each series
