Mam won’t let him. No lights on roads. Worried he’ll get hit by a car.
He doesn’t finish work til midnight.

I’m confused by the display
Average pace is 11:22 a km
Average speed is 9.7 kph
Max speed is 13.2 kph (that’s running)

18km in 3 hours must be 6kph surely :man_shrugging:

Nice job though, that’s uphill :+1:

It happens quite a lot. There was a good footballer and hurler I used play against from Ballylooby called Ronan Dwyer killed only last week in those circumstances. Walking home from pub at 11pm and got hit by a 26 year old. He was only 40. I wouldnt encourage anyone to walk home from a pub late at night along non lit country roads.

I can’t run without holding onto the bars
Balance is fucked
Outside running is a no no.
Waiting on my knee to be sorted
So I do max elevation at my fastest pace
Think that s where the average cones in high
That was a one off
I’m comfortable with 100 minutes
By by feck I pay for it afterwards if I push it ( I do)
Palexia pain killer diets it

Basically I’m a stubborn stupid old man that won’t give up

PS there’s an older man in his 70s in with me on occasion
Does at least 40 m at a fast pace on the flat
He’s stooped
Has hearing aids in
Looks his age but not a bother to him

That’s a horrible story. Awful thing.

Not mine obviously.

I have zero sympathy for anyone who goes to the most expensive pub in Ireland and orders spirits and mixers to boot.

Diesel & Petrol lads.

Ring or email your TD’s roaring abuse. We’re being gouged to fuck on fuel.

€150 for 3 pints, but you get your head kicked in for free

It had already gone up 5c during the past fortnight, now another 7c on top of that.

Our current government imo are holding off major reductions on just about everything until election race kicks in.

We’re taking the gouging lying down so they can ignore it though.

And there is yet another excise duty increase to be added, in addition to todays.

Diesel back up to around €1.80, it is a rip off.

Email TD’s

Make those useless cunts in RtE take notice too

What’s the price in the North these days?

Finally youve made a decent point

I’ve given AK47 a shout. I said to him that Labour should be all over this but they have let Sinn Fein get front and centre of all these topics

Have you seen the exchanges in the Dáil previously on this between TD’s questioning the justification of excessive excise and ministers? They are barefaced robbing us and proud of it.
