Rip Off Ireland - A thread for rip offs

I just thought it was a stupid tweet with no context. Typical of the way you’ve diminished as a poster.

You’re raging a diminished poster has made you look silly. It happens pal, just leave it go.

Well played.

I have no idea of the cost of electricity in any country. It was a lovely chart - the colour scheme particularly appealed to me.

You’re alright Jack.

Yeah. That’s the route I’ve chosen alright.

I’ll try to fix the world in a little while but I’ll pull my own mask down first.

Don’t know has he diminished tbf. He used be championing Paul Murphy and cheerleading not paying water charges and trapping a middle aged lady in her in tallaght …

Was Joan Burton the first person to be martyred in a 7 Series.

Someone posted up table of lecky prices recently that had Ireland at the top of it… If i recall @Fagan_ODowd and @gilgamboa went mental and denounced the figures as a pure sham.

We are among the highest if not the highest electricity prices in europe, as per usual in the rip off Republic. We should take matters into our own hands and stick up panels on our own houses, try to be a self sufficient as individuals as possible. We are only there to be milked by big businesses in ireland

There was a right pile on. They were unhappy that the comparison was like with like at a certain point in time. They wanted to compare Ireland’s current price with older higher European prices.

Company men :person_shrugging:t2:

Eamon Ryan will fix this soon mate. Ireland will have the cheapest energy on earth.

Yes, as an Island nation depending on importing fossil fuels we have high prices

thankfully we have at last a Minister that is transitioning us to much cheaper renewables & adding a new interconnector to France

How long should it take to get the prices down to the European average?
