Rip Off Ireland - A thread for rip offs

Target is 2045

when the wind farms are built

like giving out about the high price we pay to import fossil fuels to an island but blaming it on the man changing this is odd

When will there be enough wind farms built to get the prices down to the European average?

Dropped herself into town and thought “nice morning, ill go for a wander and coffee”. Found a place, table outside, morning sun, lovely"

Order bun and coffee. Lovely.

12.45 im asked for. Ask her check. 8.45 for a fucking bun! quid rich for coffee but its a nice vantage point so can wear that. But 8.45 for a bun?!

Scorched. Hard to see me not carrying this seethe with me for the day!

Edit: hang on, 1145 in total. 3.20 for coffee, 8.25 for the bun

Seems reasonable for the most part

You’ve expensive taste if you find that reasonable

Any way of recovering this with a Tit Monday situation? Probably too early.

That was partly offsetting the seethe. Vantage poiny was worth a premium price but they want to be unleashed entirely for 8 quid bun!

Yes it is for a black americano. It’s just Ireland has become immune due to higher wages than most anywhere else on the planet.
It’s £1.39 in maccys on the mainland for a nice coffee.

£10 to get into Mulligans Sunday night and you’d be queuing over an hour to get in. We left it off.

Why on earth would you queue to get into that oirish shithole?

Do you let the seethe show or do you pretend you’re wealthy and don’t give a fuck.

If you queue to get into a pub, you are a mug.
